In early October 2024, I purchased the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10+ All-in-One and used it every day at the pharmacy for 5 months. I will share my honest thoughts. I hope this will be a practical review for those interested in robot vacuums, cleaning automation, and AI vacuums.
Changes in Pharmacy Cleaning
: Reasons for Introducing Robot Vacuum Cleaners
In the past, pharmacies used to clean every day before business with cordless vacuum cleaners and Jiwell cordless water cleaning vacuum cleaners. They used to clean the floors with diluted ethanol detergent, but due to the lack of time to prepare for business, they began to consider introducing an automated robot vacuum cleaner. After comparing several flagship models, they chose the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10+ All-in-One with good cost-effectiveness.
In October 2024, the only all-in-one models released domestically were X10+ and X20+, and I purchased the X10+ with a mop hot air drying function. (Note: The X20 Pro released in November 2024 is a model with added hot air drying.)

: Perfect mapping and movement
The pharmacy was designed with the use of robot vacuum cleaners in mind from the initial interior design. The wires were buried, and the LAN cable was replaced with a wireless router, so there was no problem with movement. It even avoids the wooden fence under the Christmas tree installed last Christmas and cleans it well.

It operates twice a day, once before work and once after work. Additional cleaning before business removes dust and contamination remaining from the previous day to always maintain a clean pharmacy environment. 2. Inexpensive compatible consumables
Since I have encountered many problems with the mop smell of the all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner, I replace the mop pad twice a week in addition to washing and drying the station. I searched for "Xiaomi X10+ compatible consumables" on Naver Smart Store and purchased it cheaply, and it is also available on AliExpress, so it is economical.
3. Stable Mi Home app
I use IoT devices at the pharmacy and at home, and the Xiaomi Mi Home app is stable without errors in product linkage, reservation, and updates.

1. Station dirt residue
I set "collect dust after cleaning once" and "mop every 20㎡" in the Mi Home app, but there are cases where sewage remains in the station, so I clean it with ethanol once every two days.
2. Limited floor cleaning power
The mop cleaning power is weaker than that of the flagship robot vacuum cleaner or the existing Jiwell wet vacuum cleaner. So I do additional cleaning with Jiwell once a month.
3. Trouble managing the mop
To prevent musty smell, I wash the mop pad in the washing machine at high temperature twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) and then replace it, which is a bit of a hassle.
4. Security concerns
I saw news about hacking and privacy invasion of Chinese robot vacuum cleaners, but I am using them because pharmacies are not private spaces.
